A prime example of this platform’s power is the RPC® inside G120 Subsystem, an innovative product honored with the “2025 Hsinchu Science Park Innovative Product Award.” The underlying Reduced Pin Count (RPC®) technology is a testament to Etron’s focus on creating more efficient and cost-effective memory solutions for high-performance computing. Looking toward the intensive demands of next-generation AI, Etron is also preparing to launch a specialized ASIC AI memory solution. This component is meticulously engineered to support the computational requirements of Sparse Large Language Models (SLM) and Vision Large Models (VLM) directly on edge devices, a critical development for enabling complex generative AI and computer vision tasks to run locally without reliance on the cloud.

To ensure that advanced processing capabilities are not constrained by data transfer limitations, Etron is also setting new industry standards in high-speed connectivity with its EJ732 series chips. Having achieved official certification from the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) as a USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.2 Dual-Role Power (DRP) controller, this series represents the industry’s most complete USB PD 3.2 control platform. Its unique “three-in-one” full-end integration design simplifies development by covering all aspects of the USB-C connection—the host system, the peripheral device, and the cable itself. The EJ732 not only supports the Extended Power Range (EPR) specification, enabling it to deliver an impressive 240 watts (48V/5A) of power, but it also fully enables the blistering data transfer speeds of USB4 at 80Gbps. This dual capability is transformative, allowing for the creation of high-performance, secure, and fully compatible USB-C solutions that can simultaneously power the most demanding devices and transfer massive datasets at unprecedented speeds.

Building the Brains and Senses for Modern Robotics

With the global robotics market on a trajectory to surpass $100 billion, Etron and its subsidiary eYs3D Microelectronics are aggressively targeting this sector with innovative platforms designed to accelerate development cycles. Their AMR01C/AMR01M robotics barebone platforms offer a significant value proposition by providing an all-in-one, pre-integrated design that includes the chassis, drivetrain, a suite of sensors, controllers, and essential navigation and obstacle avoidance algorithms. This “robotics platform-as-a-service” approach allows system integrators to bypass much of the complex and time-consuming foundational development work. Instead, they can focus their resources on adding customized upper structures, such as shelving units for logistics or robotic arms for manufacturing, thereby dramatically shortening product development timelines and speeding time-to-market. This strategy is further strengthened by a strategic partnership with Asia Optical, aimed at collaboratively building domestic delivery and robotic base platforms to create a robust robotics ecosystem in Taiwan, enhancing cost-competitiveness and ensuring a resilient local supply chain.

For applications requiring high-performance, real-time decision-making directly at the edge, the XINK Nano platform provides a powerful solution for edge computing and sensor fusion. This platform has already been successfully deployed in smart parking applications by a leading Taiwanese electric vehicle charging system integrator, where its low-latency advantage is critical for operational efficiency. Equipped with a powerful on-board Neural Processing Unit (NPU), the XINK Nano platform fuses data from both RGB (visual) and Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors, enabling complex processing and decision-making to occur directly on the device. This on-device architecture effectively minimizes data transmission latency and reduces dependency on network bandwidth compared to traditional cloud-based analysis. In turn, this significantly lowers operational costs while enhancing overall system stability and responsiveness, making it ideal for time-sensitive industrial and consumer applications where immediate action is required.
